Southern Crusader is a Birchwood 340AC, custom-built in 1999 at a cost of around £250,000. It has 4 berths and 2 shower rooms (master stateroom with en-suite).
The boat has a high specification with a 240v generator for those important hair dryers and straighteners when you are without shore power, flat screen tv/dvd, warm air heating system for year round cruising comfort and a Bluetooth/DAB radio with MP3 player connectivity.

The running costs are divided equally between the 35 weeks and is approximately £400.00 per week (Correct 2026)
The boat is owned by 24 like minded owners (some others have more than one week as well). Once you have purchased your share, all you will pay is the annual fee – currently £400.00 – which covers your proportion of maintenance, mooring, insurance, replacement items, etc. Plus diesel and pump out if you use the boat.
