General Comments About the Boat
A traditional style stern with removable stools.
Steps lead to the engine compartment with hooks for coats, rechargeable Dyson vacuum cleaner, electric controls and Eberspecher central heating controls.
Steps down to extendable fixed double berth with storage cupboard.
Wet room with sink, shower and pump out toilet.
Diner with bench seating, with storage under, converts to double berth.
Kitchen with gas cooker and hob, 12v fridge, stainless steel sink plus storage.
Side opening hatch with folding steps.
Lounge with double sofa bed, Captain's chair and stool, solid fuel burner, Digital TV with DVD player and DAB radio. Storage cupboards.
Steps up to double doors to Cratch with folding oak table, picnic chairs. Cratch refurbished with new oak front frame and cover in 2020.
Zidon II spends the season continuously cruising and the boat is handed over from one crew to the next after cleaning, refuelled and pumped out.
The cruising area for the following season is chosen at the AGM. At the AGM there is an elected Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary

Full back to bare metal repaint in 2020. Bottom blacking and hull inspection in December 2024. Boat Safety Certificate renewed in 2021
