Booking system | A booking chart for the following calendar year is circulated. Each owner has a priority for that year, and moves up a couple of places each year: after a year at the top of the list, the owner then starts at the bottom, and after six years the cycle begins again. Each owner can choose two weeks (separately or as a fortnight) in the ‘high season’ (April to October), and one week in the remainder of the year. By this route, thirty-six weeks are firmly booked before the year begins. Allowing for time for winter maintenance, the remaining fourteen weeks are booked with priority in reverse order to the original chart, so having last choice originally does have its compensations. These extra bookings are confirmed on the first day of the month before the month of the booking. |
Priority for school holidays | There are "special" shares, for which a £250 premium is paid on the running costs each year, and this entitles those owners to priority on the booking form for school holidays. Presently (2019) there are two such owners. |

Hull is blacked anually, and repairs to exterior paintwork are completed during winter works.
While winter works and work that arises during the year, are completed by the marina workshop, some owners do volunteer to do small jobs.
Owners volunteer an annual deep-clean, to include cleaning carpets and curtains. Most bedding is renewed annually. All galley and other equipment is checked through the year and replaced when needed.
While some owners self-valet at the end of their time onboard, others prefer to use the available valet service. Owners who bring a dog onboard MUST use the valet service
At the Annual Owners’ Meeting, owners decide on what winter works are required, mooring location, and matters raised by owners. The team responsible for finance, technical matters, booking rota, are chosen from volunteers as are the Chair and Secretary.

The boat has RCR (River and Canal Rescue) Gold cover.
In 2020, this share, along with one other, will be first to select their 3 weeks after the 2 Special Shares, and last to select the
4th week. Not all owners take the option of a 4th week, and occasionally a booked week comes available. These weeks are offered first to any owner who has previously had to forego a week.
Previous mooring locations include: Worcester, Wrenbury, Gt. Haywood, Barton Turns, and in 2018 it was decided to return to Overwater Marina. Length of stay is usually 2-4 years.
The current Spring Dew Owners look forward to welcoming a new owner.
