Booking system | A booking chart for the following calendar year is circulated in agreed priority order during the autumn and before the owners’ annual meeting where the bookings for the next year are confirmed. Each owner has a priority for that year, and moves up a couple of places each year: after a year at the top of the list, the owner then starts at the bottom, and after six years the cycle begins again. Each owner can choose two weeks (separately or as a fortnight) in the ‘high season’ (April to October inclusive), and one week in the remainder of the year. By this route, thirty-six weeks are firmly booked before the year begins. Allowing time for winter maintenance, the remaining 14 weeks are booked with priority in reverse order to the original chart, so having last choice originally does have it's compensations. Further weeks may be available but cannot be guarenteed. |
Priority for school holidays | A maximum of two shares may elect to take a school holiday preference. |
General Comments About the Boat
Soulbury has a semi traditional stern. Steps down into the boat lead into the rear galley and dinette area with hob, oven, full size sink and drainer, fridge with freezer compartment, solid fuel stove, side hatch and dinette which converts to a double bed.
Further along the boat is the bathroom with a shower over a corner bath, pump out toilet and hand basin. In the corridor by the bathroom is a privacy door.
In the centre of the boat is a fixed double bed that extends to a full 5' king size. Storage is provided in the wardrobes, under-bed drawers and cubby holes.
Further forward is a second pump-out toilet (or extra storage area) and then into the front lounge area with flat screen TV/DVD combo.
This versatile space has two benches that can be used as single beds, or be converted into a large, 6' double. There are wide opening French windows which lead out to the cratch area with no change of floor level. This area also has a cratch cover so the space can be enjoyed, even in bad weather.
The boat has an eberspatcher providing diesel heating.

General comments by vendor
We meet once a year (in September) to discuss plans for the coming year and any works that need to be carried out and our mooring location which tends to chage every couple of years.
