| Booking system | A booking chart for the following calendar year is circulated late summer. Each owner has a priority for that year and moves up one or three places annually (ex-Ownerships system). Each owner can choose two weeks separately or as a fortnight in the high season (April to October), and one week in the remainder of the year. Unbooked weeks are offered on a reverse priority basis but allowing for maintenance periods. |

General Comments About the Boat
Silhouette is a semi-traditional narrow boat.
The rear deck has seating to port with a locker containing two gas bottles beneath. Another smaller locker contains mooring pins, etc.
The Morse control is located at a convenient height so that no bending is required to operate.
On the bulkhead the instrument panel is located for easy viewing. A 12volt socket is available for an additional tunnel light.
Deck boards lift to give access to the engine compartment and stern greaser.
Down the steps into the rear cabin there is a fixed double bed with storage beneath, above the head cupboard and wardrobe.
There is an en-suite comprising toilet, wash basin and shower.
Forward to port is the main bathroom with a further pump-out toilet, surface mounted wash basin and corner bath with shower above.
Next is the galley with side hatch equipped with 4 burner hob, grill and oven, microwave, under counter fridge, sink and drainer. There is ample cupboard and worktop space.
The galley leads to the dining area which seats 6 adults. This can be converted to a double bed.
The saloon has two fully adjustable leather captain's chairs with footstools, TV with DVD player, radio with CD player and two wind-up wooden stools.
There is also a solid fuel stove.
Central heating is provided by radiators throughout the boat heated by a Webasto diesel system.
Full width fold back doors lead to the forward deck which has a storage locker for solid fuel, hose, etc.
There are two chairs and locker top cushion to seat four on the front deck.

General comments by vendor
We have enjoyed many happy holidays on board enhanced by the friendly syndicate of which we have been a part. Annual meetings have been well chaired and stress free with all decisions amicably taken.Silhouette has been maintained to a very high standard. Many items and furnishings have been upgraded eg LED lighting throughout, and replaced using a rolling scheme of improvement.
The boat has both 12 volt and 240 volt provided by 4 leisure batteries, inverter or shore line.
Hot water is heated by a calorifier when the engine is running or by diesel heating system.
An AGM is held where mooring location, winter maintenance items and general improvements are agreed. The boat has an inventory which includes everything from galley requirements to mooring pins, windlasses and bedding.
