Booking system | The weeks are fixed per share. A week share can be owned by a maximum of two persons. The respective share owner(s) must be present onboard and cannot let anyone else use the boat unless a share owner is on board. Any unused share weeks can be swapped with another share owner for that year. The cost to take another owners week is usually the cost of the annual maintenance fee - currently £330 (Correct 2023) |

General Comments About the Boat
The owners of Rivendell took over the boat from The Boatshare Company in 2005 and now have a full dedicated committee and engineer to look after the running of the boat. The owners hold an annual meeting to discuss the boat and at the meeting the costs for the following year will be estimated. During the year owners are kept informed by email.
Rivendell was built in 2004 and is a Semi Trad design and 58ft long.
She is a comfortable boat with a fixed 5ft extending double in the rear cabin there is a double in the dinette and the two chairs in the front cabin are convertible into single beds.
There is a washroom with a pump out toilet a wash basin and a full size shower cubicle with a domestic hinged door.
There is full hot water central heating with radiators. the heating boiler also backs up the calorifier for hot water.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4 burner hob and an eye level grill and oven. Power is by domestic batteries and inverter.
Rivendell also has a land mains hook up for use when on the mooring.
The front cabin has two comfortable chairs that convert to beds and there is a stereo system and Digital TV and a multi-fuel stove.
Opposite the kitchen area is an opening hatch for extra light/ventilation, this has a Perspex panel for extra light on rainy days.
Most maintenance takes place during the winter months.
