"NB Meridian" was built for The Boatshare Company by John White, fitted out by Dursley & Hurst Limited and launched in April 2002.

Starting from the rear deck, the deck is slightly higher than that of most semi trads, allowing you to see clearly with ease.

Two new removable pedestal seats for helmsman and assistant were fitted in winter 2022, adding to the comfort on longer trips. There are stern lockers on both sides used to store tools & windlasses etc, which allow further external seating.

From the rear deck, there is a door to right with steps leading down to the master bedroom. The master bedroom is equipped with an extendable double bed, hanging wardrobe and lockers both above and beneath the bed.

A short corridor leads to the bathroom, complete with vanity basin, toilet (new in 2022) and full height shower cubicle.

Next is a door which provides complete privacy to the bedroom and bathroom.

The corridor leads to the fully equipped kitchen complete with cooker, grill & gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of cupboard space. A side hatch allows light and fresh air into the kitchen when opened.

Next to the kitchen is a raised Pullman dinette unit which converts to a double bed if needed, with further storage underneath seats.

A storage cupboard then separates the dinette from the saloon area which is fitted with 2 chairs that convert to single beds. In addition, two comfortable folding deck chairs are stored under the dinette unit.

There is a solid fuel stove, and central heating system with radiators throughout the boat.

There is a TV (new in 2023) and built in stereo radio/ cd player with distributed speakers.

Double doors provide access to the front well deck which is fitted with low lockers on both sides. The boat gas cylinders are located in the bow compartment.

330w of solar panels support the leisure batteries, where these batteries were replaced in 2020.

Meridian is managed by an active and committed committee comprising Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.

The Owners have an Annual Meeting each October when decisions are taken regarding maintenance, mooring and overall running of "Meridian". Over the last few ‘Covid’ years the AGM has been held on line and this is likely to continue.
