Booking system
A booking chart for the following calendar year is circulated in
agreed priority order before the owners’ annual meeting,
where the bookings for the next year are confirmed.

Each owner has a priority for that year, and moves up a couple
of places each year: after a year at the top of the list, the owner
then starts at the bottom, and after six years the cycle begins again.

Each owner can choose two weeks (separately or as a fortnight)
in the ‘high season’ (April to October inclusive),
and one week in the remainder of the year.

By this route, thirty weeks are firmly booked before the year begins.

Allowing for time for winter maintenance, the remaining fourteen
weeks are booked with priority in reverse order to the original chart,
so having last choice originally does have its compensations.
Priority for school holidaysA maximum of three owners may have "School Holiday" priority
where they choose their weeks ahead of the others but MUST align
 their weeks to school holidays.

These owners pay a premium of 25% on all the running costs
over and above the other owners for having this "special" option.

General Comments About the Boat

Inglewood was the first of the 'New Generation' boats commissioned by OwnerShips, and as a result is of a very high specification.

A 2002, Reeves-built 10/6/4mm steel construction vessel, fitted-out by Milburn Boats, with a Nanni diesel engine within a sound-proof compartment. She has a semi-traditional stern and a mid galley.

Diesel central heating to radiators and a solid fuel stove. Water heating by diesel boiler and by engine (calorifier) Two pump-out fresh water WCs. 12-volt lighting (LED bulbs throughout) and 240-volt AC supplied by inverter or hook up.

Fully lined curtains to all windows and blinds in kitchen and bathroom. Carpet tiles to all areas and vinyl flooring to kitchen and bathroom. Light maple T&G timber and veneered panels. Inglewood is very light and airy with good use of recessed and spot lighting.

Starting from the stern and working forward:

Semi-traditional Helmsmans deck with seating area (storage lockers under - 2 gas bottles, mooring pins, windlasses etc) and engine under deck.

Inside steps to master bedroom (double bed extendable to king size) with en-suite cloakroom, storage drawers under bed and full-height wardrobe.

Corridor with bathroom off - corner bath with shower over, wash basin with cupboard under, WC and extractor fan.

Spacious galley has sink/drainer, new gas hob, new oven & grill, microwave, larder fridge under the worksurface, extractor fan, large storage cupboards. A good range of crockery and cooking utensils are provided, plenty for a crew of six. Large side/roof hatch off galley, with removable perspex screen.

Built-in guest wardrobe, raised L-shaped dinette which easily seats six, plus two additional on-board stools, and dinette converts to a very comfortable double bed. Ample storage under the dinette, plus two sizes of table (drop-leaf) which can be stored securely against the side of the boat.

Two additional arm-chairs convert to single beds to accommodate sleeping for a maximum of 6 persons overall.

Solid fuel stove and dividing curtain separating sleeping areas.

General comments by vendor

The Inglewood syndicate is a very friendly, cohesive and supportive unit and we shall very much miss our time afloat.

Inglewood is a well-run Syndicate and a well-maintained boat that will ideally suit an active couple or family unit. Her paintwork still attracts favourable comment many years on from Andy Russell`s full repaint and the hull was recoated with a two-pack epoxy coating in February of this year. The hull is further protected from corrosion & pitting by an isolation transformer.

An annual budget is agreed by the AGM each year including a contribution to a sinking fund for any capital projects (e.g re-paint). These contributions have been historically in the range of £900-£1200 per share.

In addition to benefitting from the first instalment already paid towards the 2023 Budget and the three available holiday weeks the new Owner will also gain the benefit of the boat`s capital expenditure `sinking fund` which currently stands @ £4300.

She has a major winter service plus “cruising services” during the summer.

The Boat Safety Certificate runs till Jan 2026.
