| Booking system | List rotation system. A booking chart for the following year is circulated in late summer/early autumn. The list is split into blocks which are booked in order: school holiday, then red summer shares, then yellow spring/autumn shares, then blue shares. Those at the top of the list chose their slots first, then 2nd on the list etc. Each year everyone moves up the list until they reach the top, after which they re-join the bottom of the list. |

General Comments About the Boat
Starting at the semi-trad rear of the boat, there is a locker with seating either side.
Steps lead down past built in wardrobe/cupboards to a fixed double bed with additional storage under.
Next there is an off-coridor shower room with good size shower, pump out toilet with level gauge and basin fitted into cupboard unit. Towel radiator and plenty of storage.
Continuing down the coridor you reach the kitchen with eye level gas cooker/grill, microwave, 4 burner gas hob, fridge, sink and side doors opposite with pull out shelf below. Freezer located under dinette.
Next comes an L-shaped dinette with a free standing table which can be collapsed down to convert the dinette to a double bed. There is a big storage space under the dinette seating for bedding etc.
After this is a curtain which can be pulled across the cabin to divide off the dinette when sleeping.
The lounge area with a sofa is towards the front of the boat which pulls out to form a double bed with large storage space underneath for bedding etc. There is a solid fuel bubble stove at the front of the boat.
Opposite the sofa bed are built in cubpoards and shelving and there are further wardrobes and shelved cupboards at the front of the boat. Double front doors with windows lead out to the front deck with seating either side and further storage.
Bedroom and lounge area carpeted. Wooden flooring in kitchen.
Diesel central heating throughout the boat and an additional radiator in the back cabin.

In addition, the stove and carpets have been replaced in the last 3 years.
New paint job booked for 2022 with Andy Russell at Overwater (boat's base). Full cost already saved in boat savings account.
Monthly cost includes ALL budgeted costs (including winter maintenance) and a monthly contribution into the savings account towards major purchases.
We have very much valued the input provided by the current Chairman and have felt very lucky to have his skills and time in leading our syndicate. He does online questionnaires/votes on all major expenditure/decisions and so our preferences have felt very democratically and fairly represented.
It should be noted that Firefly has greater than usual internal headroom, somebody of up to 6' 5" should not have a problem.
