General Comments About the Boat
The Exterior: Semi traditional boat painted in blue and red with Rose and Castle doors and window shutters. Boat has blue cratch cover.
The Interior: From the back cockpit, enter down the ladder to find the main bedroom with a carved wood post on the bed and sink with blue and white tiles surround. There is a back closet for clothing and storage as well. The ceiling is oak panelled, and has a traditional look.
The curtains are blue and white and cranberry striped cotton with blackout linings throughout the boat which is coordinated with the blue carpeting on the floor and half way up the walls from the floor.
The main bedroom is en suite with its own basin and loo.
The main bathroom is in the middle of the boat and has a toilet, shower cubicle and basin.
The kitchen is next and is equipped with microwave, gas oven and grill, refrigerator, and filtered drinking water. The boat is equipped with bone china service for six, glassware to include beer glasses, tall tumblers, wine glasses and short tumblers for six. There are also matching bone china mugs, and a teapot and egg cups as well. There are pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and cutlery as well.
The dining area seats 4 with extensions for an additional 2 diners. There is a wooden table with a hand thrown blue fruit bowl to match the interior. This section also converts to a comfortable double bed. The seating is finished in cranberry coloured fabric.
The front settees are also cranberry coloured and also convert into a comfortable double bed. They face our 32" flat screen Smart Samsung TV which is mounted on a bracket for pulling forward and pushing back for storage.
We have an Oyster Caro Vision II Automatic Satellite TV System which makes finding the signal very easy. There is a Squirrel Stove.
The outdoor front seating area has the aforementioned cratch cover, within which there are 2 camp chairs with table stored away for towpath relaxing.

We have greatly enjoyed our 10 years of shared ownership of Explorer. She has recently been moved, after several years at Great Haywood, to Dunchurch Pools and was previously at Calcutt.
