Booking system | A list system whereby a booking chart for the following calendar year is circulated each July, in established owner priority order, where the bookings for the next year are confirmed. Each owner has a position for that year, and moves up a couple of places each year. After a year at the top of the list, the owner then starts at the bottom. Each owner can choose two weeks (separately or as a fortnight) in the ‘high season’ (April to October inclusive), and one week in the remainder of the year. The list is then circulated a 2nd time for owners to book a 4th week, and this circulation starts from the bottom of the priority order, so being at the bottom of the list has its compensations. Two weeks is allotted for winter maintenance. If an owner is unable to use their week it is offered to the rest of the syndicate on a first come first served basis. |
Priority for school holidays | Two shares are 'premium' or school holiday shares, which have priority over the remaining owners' bookings, but must choose from school holiday periods |
