General Comments About the Boat
This is a Dutch built motor yacht with external bridge and internal steering positions.
The living accommodation of Blue Steel is accessed from the spacious stern deck via steps which lead down to the saloon. (or through a door on the port side deck)
In the wheelhouse area of the saloon there is a settee, with storage under which can be used as a seventh bed if required, and table to starboard with an inside steering position on the port side with full instrumentation and engine controls. Steps at the forward end of the saloon lead down to the dining area and galley.
The galley is well equipped with gas hob, microwave and fridge and ample cupboards for cooking equipment/implements, crockery and cutlery. The dining area seats 4 comfortably and converts easily into a double berth. There is ample storage space under the bench seats.
There is a forward bathroom with basin and WC. Still further forward is a cabin with twin beds (storage under), cupboard and wardrobe.
Steps at the rear of the saloon lead down to the master en suite cabin which comprise of a double island bed with memory foam topper with access both sides and storage under. There are also two cupboards, a wardrobe and a full length mirror. The aft en-suite bathroom consists of a large shower, wash basin with large surface area and cupboards under, and a WC.
The VHF radio on board can only be operated by an owner holding the SRC certificate.
Throughout the boat there are ample UK electrical and USB sockets fed from shore power. An Eberspacher central heating system equips Blue Steel for winter use.
On deck the boat has the helm on the large stern deck which provides instrumentation and controls for engine and steering. cushioned stern seats with a folding table and a large bimini cover provide a comfortable space for cruising and eating.
