| Booking system | A booking chart for the following calendar year is circulated in agreed priority order before the owner's annual meeting, where the bookings for the next year are confirmed. Each owner has a priority for that year, and moves up a couple of places each year: after a year at the top of the list, the owner then starts at the bottom, and after six years the cycle begins again. Each owner can choose two weeks (separately or as a fortnight) in the "high season" (April to October inclusive), and one week in the remainder of the year. By this route, thirty-six weeks are firmly booked before the year begins. Allowing for time for winter maintenance, the remaining fourteen weeks are booked with priority in reverse order to the original chart, so having last choice originally does have its compensations. General Comments About the Boat
Starting from the rear semi traditional stern, the steps drop down into the rear cabin which houses a fixed double (or extending king sized) and a small en suite toilet.
You then enter a corridor with the bathroom on your left, in the bathroom is a bath, a shower, a sink and a toilet.
Next is the kitchen area which has a microwave, sink, drainer, oven, hob and under counter fridge. Under your feet is a wine storage box. There are plenty of cupboards equipped with enough crockery, cutlery, glasses for 6 people plus pans, pots and cooking utensils. Basic cleaning equipment is stored under the sink.
Next there is a Dinette which converts into a double bed.
Towards the front is the salon area with two comfortable armchairs which convert into single beds. There is also an LCD TV/DVD.
The multi-fuel stove provides extra comfort but the boat has diesel fired central heating radiators throughout.
Double doors then lead you into the outside front of the boat where there is a comfortable seating area.
There is a side double door access hatch for separate access to the boat and a 'Perspex' window can be fitted to give extra light without draft if required.

General comments by vendor
We used to hire boats, but as we wanted to spend more time on the canals this became cost prohibitive. Syndicate membership has been an inexpensive way to have more holidays and to decide whether we wanted to take the next and expensive step of purchasing a boat, which we have now done (we didn't want to buy a boat only to find out that it doesn't suit us.)
