General Comments About the Boat
62ft Traditional Narrowboat
Colecaft Shell fitted out by Barry Hawkins in 2001.

Enter through the traditional stern into the engine room/rear where there is a washing machine, wash basin, large drying cupboard beside the engine.
Victron inverter and a small bed. Also a new (June 2023) spare portaloo in wardrobe cupboard. side hatch on port side and a starboard porthole.
Leading to main bedroom with overhead cupboards, a wardrobe and a bed which extends to 5', with a new mattress (June 2023).
Portholes on either side, the area is carpeted.
Leading to bathroom with a bath and overhead water saving shower, washbasin and a macerator pump out toilet. Portholes both inside the bathroom and outside in the corridor.
Leading to fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, lots of cupboard space, fridge and full gas cooker with four burners. Fully stocked kitchen ware to service seven on board.
Leading to Dinette which seats seven, and also converts into a double bed.
Leading to Lounge where there are Two new chair beds (June 2023) - matching new coverings for seating, loose cushions and new curtain divide between kitchen and dining/lounge area to be completed by (June 2003). New TV (2023) in lounge along with a solid fuel stove.
Opening hatch and large windows.
Hot water is from an insulated tank and is heated by the engine or immersion heater on hook up.
Bow is covered with a cratch cover and has a fold down table with a glass front, enabling you to enjoy sitting and watching all the action whilst under cover or roll everything up if it is sunny.
There are two bow lockers, one holds the coal, the other various covers, stakes, mallet and anchor. In front of cratch is gas locker with two 13kg cylinders, the replacement of which when they run out is funded by the boat.

General comments by vendor
We have enjoyed our time on this beautiful boat, and have felt very proud of her as we cruise the cut. We will be sad to say goodbye to her, but ill health sadly means we have to part ways.
Phoenix No 1 is self managed by the three sharers.
NB. This boat is a no smoking boat and no pets are allowed on board.
Phoenix No 1 has been carefully looked after with paintwork in excellent condition.
The engine is a Yanmar 2200 and has always been serviced every 250 hours.
The water tank holds 150 gallons, the waste tank 75 gallons and the fuel tank 40 gallons.
The boat is well maintained and all share holders are expected to participate in the running and keeping Phoenix No 1 in excellent condition that she is in today.
