Booking System	Each share provides 8 weeks in a calendar year, two weeks in each quarter. A rota for the next year is negotiated at the shareholder's annual meeting held in September. Further changes are made by agreement via e-mail.
Priority for school holidays	Special requirements to accommodate school holidays etc. are negotiated.

General comments about the boat
Venture was built and launched by Wessex Boats in 2002. The boat has four berths, a fixed double in the rear cabin and a convertible double berth/dinette in the saloon. The toilet is a Thetford cassette toilet with a spare cassette, which was an upgrade from the previous pump-out toilet. C/H for the boat is by Mikuni diesel heater which is housed in the engine compartment, heating three radiators, with the controls in the rear bedroom.

General Comments by vendor
Due to ill health we are reluctantly selling our one sixth share of the 50’ Cruiser Narrowboat Venture. The share carries the entitlement of eight weeks use of the boat per year, and also the opportunity to pick up any unused weeks, which might become available from the other owners (frequently). This is my fourth shared boat and by far the best group of people to share the boat with. The syndicate are a delightful group of people, who manage the boat themselves. This years running expenses are set at only £700 per year, and there is a substantial amount of accumulated money held in the boat account for future jobs on the boat. Jobs decided for this year are new curtains throughout the boat and a complete outside re-paint. We have booked four weeks :- 11th March to 18th March 2012 (one week), 13th to 20th May 2012 (one week), and 12th to 26th August 2012 (two weeks). This leaves the new owners four more weeks to choose to suit themselves. Hand over days are usually on the Sunday, to take over at/after 6pm.
