The Teal was built and fitted out by Heron boat builders in 1998. The present owners have been running the boat since 1999.

It is 58ft long, semi trad with a nearly new (600hrs) Isuzu 42 engine. It was repainted and blacked Jan 2009, with new carpets, curtains and upholstery.

It sleeps 6, one fixed double, (across the boat), 2 converted from the front bunks, 2 converted from the dinette bunks.

Standard layout with the fixed double at the rear, then the bathroom, with shower over the bath, basin, pump out toilet. Then the dinette, seating 4, which is raised up so you can see out,

Next the kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge and cupboards, with enough crockery for six and with side opening door opposite the sink unit.

Satellite TV and Morso wood-burning stove leading to lounge area with 2 bunks 6ft 6in long, which infil to make large double or 2 singles.

Duvets and pillows for 6 are supplied.

Heating by wood-burning stove, and Alde gas C/H boiler, which heats the radiators and hot water. Engine also heats the water via a Calorifier. Smoke and gas alarms fitted, also fire blanket and extinguisher.

Boat is serviced monthly and taken out of the water in January for blacking etc.

Booking arrangements	Weeks are decided upon at the AGM in October, first and second choice dates are submitted and usually agreed. Weeks to be taken in different seasons, i.e. if 1 week taken in spring season, the next week must be in summer, autumn or winter.
Special holiday arrangements	There are no special arrangements for school holidays
