General Comments by vendor

Still Dreaming is a beautifully maintained semi-trad narrow boat. A new Beta 43 engine was fitted in January 2012.

This is very well managed and cost effectively run boat, with a very friendly group of owners.

The group was formed after the collapse of OwnerShips and we have had considerable lower costs running it as a private group.

At the end of 2011 we had to replace the 13 year old engine, which incurred a one off extra cost to all owners, and we now have a more powerful and efficient engine for which maintenance costs should be lower for some time to come. (and is guaranteed for this year(2012).

Other repairs during 2011 include a new prop-shaft, and water pump in February 2012

The fees cover mooring, insurance, licence, gold option river rescue (which we have never had to use), and maintain a fund which easily covers the predictable repair costs, giving all owners peace of mind.

When using the boat owners pay for diesel, pump-outs, gas at the time, and for a valet (around £35) the day they return the boat to the yard.
