Booking system
Our season is split in to 4 x 8 week periods. The season always starts on the
same Friday, in this example the last Friday in March.
A one off draw for the first year took place at the AGM to decide the order for
future rotation for the members. Drawing A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H
The member drawing A Takes the first week in each of the 4 x 8 periods in 2010,
B takes the second weeks and so on, with H taking the last week in each 8 week
period.
The next year the Rota moves forward by one, starting again on the last Friday
in March with B taking all the first weeks of the 4 x 8 week periods and member
A moving to the 8th weeks. The 3rd year C takes the first weeks of the 4 periods
and so on.
Swaps, allocation charts and everything else would be as now.
The advantages are
1 You know years in advance when your weeks are.
2 Your turn on the boat would always be 7 weeks apart unless you swap.
3 Every member gets to have the use of each of the 32 weeks in our season,
be it over an 8 year period.
Twin steering positions, bow thruster, full canopy on the aft deck. Warm air
central heating and fully equipped for cruising the Thames. Forward cabin with 2
single berths
Galley with gas water heater, fridge, oven, 4 burner hob, microwave. Dinette
which converts to double bed.
Saloon with large curved settee/single berth, helm position. Heads with separate
shower, Electric toilet to holding tank and wash basin. Large aft cabin with
double berth. Aft deck with helm seat, table and chairs.
Owners dogs are allowed but with restrictions.
The boat is well maintained and weekly in season checks are carried out by a
boatyard.
