On a rota system. 2 weeks in peak and 1 week during off-peak times
are
pre-bookable. A booking chart is issued by our Committee in August and the owner at top of the list gets first choice, and so on until reaching 12th. Once completed, the draft booking chart is taken to the Winter Owner's Meeting held in Oct/Nov, reviewed by the owners present and confirmed. Very friendly and flexible owners who will always try to accommodate if an owner has a problem. Other times can be booked on a first come, first served basis |
| Special holiday arrangements | There are 2 "special" shares, for which a 25% premium is paid, and entitles those owners to priority on the booking form for school holidays. |

Sandpiper has proved to be an extremely reliable boat. It is very comfortable with a well equipped galley, including microwave, plenty of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery (in fact, more than we have at home!). There is a fixed double aft cabin with en-suite shower room. There is a full bathroom with corner bath and excellent shower mid-ship, followed by the galley.
The dinette converts to a very comfortable double bed and in the saloon there are two single armchairs which convert into single beds. The central heating system with five radiators is extremely efficient and the water stays hot for ages, easily possible to have hot shower the morning following a cruise the day before. The coal/wood burning stove is also very efficient and keeps the boat nice and cosy in winter.
We spent a Christmas on board when temperatures went down as low as -13oC and whilst all outside was frozen we were as snug as a bug in a rug!
As a total contrast, "patio doors" open up onto the front deck, which is my personal favourite for a bacon sarnie on a summer's morning. There are 2 lockers on the foredeck which hold all the usual essentials.
