Currently moored at Blisworth Boats until end 2006 (2nd year) moorings

every 2 -3 years covering Devizes on K&A to Silsden on L&L; so plenty
of variety.

Osprey is a homely semi trad boat which we have been part owners of since
her launch in 1991. She is comfortable, with most home comforts, but being
14 years old she is not "high-tec" She is lined throughout with varnished
T&G
She can sleep up to six, although we find that this is only really practical
for 2 couples and 2 children.
Accommodation (from rear) consists of a rear master bedroom with en-suite
shower, basin and pump out loo. Boiler cupboard housing Aldi boiler for
water and full central heating. Main bathroom with airing cupboard, bath and
shower, basin & pump out loo. Kitchen with gas hob grill & oven and electric
fridge (running off separate battery to rest of boat) Lounge / dining area
consisting of corner sofa with desmo legged dining table which converts to a
second double bed, Squirrel solid fuel stove, two arm chairs which convert
to single berths. The cabin has a dividing privacy curtain for when all
berths are in use. There is a CD/stereo system and also a black & white TV
on board and ample 12v power sockets for charging phones etc. There is a
240v circuit throughout, which can be powered by either land line or
portable generator (not on boat). The bow deck has a cratch board and cover
(handy to sleep the pets/kids in)
In 2004 she had a reconditioned engine fitted (last one had been in place
with no real problems for over 12 years) Paintwork is in very good condition
on the cabin and this winter she will be bottom blacked and hull painted. We
are also having new carpet tiles fitted throughout the boat this winter as
well as the very high level "preventative maintenance package OwnerShips
recommend which has kept Osprey virtually breakdown free during her life.
To go along with the trouble free cruising she has offered she also
participates in the OwnerShips "internal holiday insurance scheme" -
basically for a small annual premium of around £12 per boat OwnerShips
provide either a hire boat or use of another OwnerShips managed boat if for
any reason your boat is not available for your holiday (major breakdown
etc).
