on a ﬁrst-come ﬁrst-served basis by email. Free weeks
can occur throughout the year and especially in the winter.

General Comments About the Boat
Entering from the semi-traditional stern. there is a ﬁxed 4’ one-poster bed that can be extended to 4’ 6” and a basin with mirror in the master cabin. An over-bed unit contains a radio and reading lights. There is a large illuminated hanging wardrobe which includes a radiator to assist with drying and there is storage under the bed.
An en-suite private pump-out toilet compartment is next, followed by a door to divide the boat at night.
Beyond this door is a wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. Followed by the main shower room containing a second pump-out toilet. sink unit and shower cubicle.
The next area is the galley (kitchen) with eye-level gas double-oven. four-burner hob. sink, cupboards, worktops, microwave and refrigerator. There is a decorated side-door which can have a Perspex panel fitted to allow light in without a draught. There are automatically illuminated cupboards below the worktops. A lift-up ﬂap can be used to extend the worktop.
The dining area is next. Using the, on board extensions, the table and seating (which un-extended seats 4 comfortably) can cater for 6 people. The table and seating convert into a double bed.
Next is the lounge where the settee converts into another double bed. The dining and lounge areas can be separated by a curtain for privacy. There is a diesel stove in the forward corner of the cabin and a flat-screen TV. A radio is housed in the storage unit opposite Behind this unit is the third illuminated hanging wardrobe. It is also possible to locate a table in front of the sofa.
The bow cratch contains the anchor, water hoses etc. There is a weatherproof cratch cover with transparent panels in the sides which can be completely rolled up. A square table can be installed in the centre of the well deck if required. There is also maintenance access for the bow thruster.
In front of the cratch there is a bow locker for the stowage of three gas bottles for the gas cooker.
There are central heating radiators throughout the boat which are served by a diesel boiler in the engine compartment at the stern.
An inverter provides 240 volts to several sockets although this is not generally required other than for the microwave or vacuum cleaner. Lighting is by LED lamps.
The boat is lined largely in light oak faced ply panels (to the ceiling and below the gunwales), with Murasuede cabin sides, well crafted solid oak joinery with sapele trim throughout and carpeted floors.

General comments by vendor
We have been owners since June 2014 and have very much enjoyed our time on the canals. One of the reasons for choosing a six berth narrow boat in the first place was so that we could spend time cruising with our children and grandchildren. These weeks were particularly enjoyable.
One of the great benefits of a canal cruise is that you really can slow down and appreciate the natural surroundings and the company that you are spending time with.
Sadly declining health within our family means that we are less and less able to take advantage of our weeks.
The benefits of being a shareholder rather than a sole owner are that you not only share the costs of ownership but also share your experiences with your fellow shareholders.
