An 8% share is available giving 4 weeks cruising per year, one week from each season. Weeks are chosen by shareholders on a rotational arrangement. Exchange of weeks is permitted by mutual agreement of owners. Remote changeover is permitted by mutual arrangement allowing increased cruising range. Should a week become available, it is advertised on the by e-mail and given on a first come basis.
Special holiday arrangements There are no special arrangements for those requiring school holidays although syndicate members normally give them consideration when arranging exchanges of "School holiday" weeks.

Hull built by Alexander Brothers, Stourport-on-Severn and fit out by Blue Haven Marine. Commissioning date was 28th May 2005.

Fuel tank 191 litres.

Water tank 450 litres.

WC holding tanks 200 ltr and 240 ltr.

Engine is located beneath aft cockpit deck and has single lever control and twin alternators for charging all batteries. 4 domestic batteries provide power for 12V and 240V inverter. Engine start battery is isolated from domestic batteries. Engine also provides power for hydraulic bow thruster.

Cockpit has a detachable cover and can be covered fully or in inclement weather can be covered partially using zipped panel.

Empire has a full inventory and only sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels need to be provided by owner.

There are 3 wardrobes and numerous drawers and cupboards providing ample storage.

The master bedroom is located aft. It is fitted with a fixed double bed, en-suite facilities of wash hand basin and separate toilet and an integrally fitted FM radio/CD player, a wardrobe also contains the Aldi gas boiler.

A door to corridor separates the master bedroom from remainder of boat. Corridor contains a second wardrobe and door leading to bathroom which has a shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Both toilets are flush/pump out units and are independent of each other.

The kitchen has a gas cooker with grill and oven and a separate 4 ring gas hob, electric fridge, microwave, sink with draining board and a filtered water supply in addition to the normal hot and cold water supply. Opposite the sink a set of double doors and roof cut-out can be opened for ventilation/access. A clear Perspex screen can be fitted in this opening so closing off the outside but still providing extra light/visibility.

The dinette is fitted for seating for 4 or 6 by the addition of corridor bridging seating and attachment of a small table insert. It converts to a double or 2 single beds.

Separated from the lounge/front bedroom area by a curtain, the lounge has L shaped seating to a removable large or small table, the large table being used as a base for a double bed.

There is an LCD digital TV with DVD player and a Sky sat decoder with a portable sat dish and locator kit. A radio/CD player is fitted below the TV at the front of the lounge area.

A solid fuel stove was fitted in the lounge area in January 2009.

Double glass doors open into the front cratch area covered by a detachable zipped cover. All cratch fittings are removalable to leave an open well deck area that has provision for fitting the smaller of the 2 tables and 2 collapsible chairs. A panel in the well deck provide access to the bow thruster.

Heating is provided by the gas boiler or engine, when running, to radiators, with the addition of solid fuel stove. For summer use a shut off valve cuts out radiator heating leaving just the hot water system.

Gas is a syndicate expense and is part of budgeted costs. 3 gas bottles are carried, 2 in use with auto change-over and 1 spare.
