The boat itself has the following amenities:-

*Self contained aft master cabin with double bed and en-suite toilet, washbasin and shower.

*Forward cabin with double bed which can be closed off to provide en-suite with separate toilet and sink, plus bath with shower and washbasin.

*Saloon with full size cooker, microwave, sink unit, and fridge.
Breakfast bar and 4 stools.

*1 double sofa bed.

*TV with VCR and DVD player.

*Radio/CD/ Tape player.

*Wood burning stove.

*Wheelhouse with seating and removable tables

*Boat has full diesel powered central heating radiators.

*240V ac power from either an inverter powered from the boats batteries or shore power. Separate batteries for engine and domestic supplies

*2 bicycles and 4 canvas chairs.

*All crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, brushes, vacuum cleaner, etc. provided.

*Pillows, mattress protectors and duvets provided. Disposable mattress and pillow protectors are carried on the boat for a small charge.

*Car parking is provided at the marina and a large supermarket is nearby

*Locally based British boat engineer on call for any problems encountered during boat usage.

Auxerre is the capital of Lower Burgandy and is built on a hillside beside the River Yonne. The old town has many interesting sites including cathedral and abbey, as well as a variety of interesting shops, markets and restaurants. The town is at the centre of the vineyard area, of which the most famous are Chablis and Irancy. It is about 4 to 5 hours drive from Boulogne or Calais.

There are numerous cruising options from here as the mooring is on the River Yonne, at the end of the Canal du Nivernais. The Canal du Burgogne is approx a half day cruise away. It is also possible to to reach Paris via the Yonne. During the winter months the boat can be used as a static base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Many owners enjoy Christmas or New Year with their families at Auxerre.

NOTE: Each owner (or one if joint owners), has to obtain an International Certificate of Competance (ICC), which includes the CEVNI test required by the French River authorities. These can be obtained from UK boat training schools, RYA or from a French training school.

The syndicate has a web site which is updated regularly with members contact details, latest accounts, news from the Secretary, Chairman and Engineer, holiday reports etc. Part of the web site is available for public viewing and contains more details of how the syndicate is run together with pictures of the boat. Booking arrangements	2 high season and 1 low season weeks booked via a rotating seniority system. Each owner moves up one place every other year and by 3 places each other year. eg. 2009 position 5, 2010 position 4, 2011 position 1, 2012 position 11. This system means that each owner moves from positions 12 or 11 to positions 1 or 2 every 6 years. Any unallocated weeks can be applied for during the year.
Special holiday arrangements	There are two two school holiday shares. These shareholders book their weeks, (2 high season and 1 low season), from within specified school holiday periods before the normal shareholders. These shareholders pay a 25% premium on the normal running costs.
