Vendors Comments
The weeks that we originally bought up in St Jean de Losne are good time-wise because they sometimes incorporate “Bastille Day” which is a public holiday in France, there are celebrations in every town and village which are nice to be a part of, there is always a carnival mood on that day.
Both our weeks being early July, the weather is excellent and every business, shop and restaurant is eager for your business unlike the month of August where the mass exodus by the French to the coast leave towns and villages deserted.
When BV2 is sold maybe after 10 years with the agreement of all
shareholders her value estimate could easily be between £100,000 - £140,000+. if
this were so then each of the original 14 shareholders would stand to recuperate
their original outlay, but of course the boat has to be maintained to its
present very high standard and boat prices have to maintain their present
good values, but for anyone purchasing shares it is a pretty low risk
venture and fun to.
These boats have caused a stir with their high quality and performance of engine and thrusters in the French Press. If anyone were interested enough to see the boat in the flesh they will undoubtedly be impressed by its area of cruising waters ease of manoeuvrability and quality.
