General Comments About the Boat

Built 2004 from tough fibre-reinforced epoxy composite, extremely well insulated and panelled throughout in both solid oak and oak veneer, the boat was repainted in 2018, every winter the hull was treated with antifouling.

On the rear fly bridge there is seating for 6-8 for dining and a stainless steel wheel. Steps down each side to wheelhouse cabin.

This offers dining for 6-8, an inside steering position and access to engine.

Steps down to "first class" appointed double berth 'owner's' cabin aft of the wheelhouse with en suite shower and WC.

Steps down to saloon which offers sofa bed and galley. walk through to separate WC and shower on left and double cabin on right.

Walkout through bow door to bow front which has seating with storage and access to gas bottles.

A second double-berth 'guest' cabin is provided at the front of the boat with separate shower and WC rooms adjacent. The saloon/kitchen is provided with a sofa that converts to a third double bed, if required, and the seating in the wheelhouse - normally arranged as an 'L'-shaped dinette on a raised plinth for maximum visibility through the panoramic windows - can also be arranged to provide sleeping accommodation for two.

This is an ideal boat for two - four people who like to have occasional guests. Although it is able to take eight we would not recommend this for extended cruising.

The wheelhouse has a large sliding sunroof and a second 'fly bridge' helm position is situated on the aft sun deck. The aft sun deck comfortable seats 6-8 people for meals.
Access to engine.
Diesel engine Beta/Ford/Bowman Marine, 5 litres, 4 cylinder, 85 HP with Vetus hydraulic pump.
In lieu of conventional marine gearbox, a variable Vetus hydraulic pump is installed which drives the main prop together with a bow thruster and a stern thruster. Very easy to manoeuver, even sideways.

General comments by vendor

We were looking to buy a boat exactly like this, when we discovered this boat on the Saone river back in 2011.

There are 36 shares for 36 weeks starting end of February until November. Each share entitles the owner to use the boat one week.
The owners agree among each other where to hand over.

Every year it is in the Midi for maintenance during the winter, in spring it is navigated or transported by truck up the Rhone to Burgundy, in autumn back to the Midi.

There is around £7,200 (correct 2019) in the Contigency Fund for any unexpected expediture, this equates to around £200 per week owned.
