“1/6th SHARES JEANNEAU S.O. 40 in BEAUTIFUL IONIAN ( GREECE) PRICE of Shares £13,333 giving 4 weeks between May and October each year. Charter cost for 4 weeks ONCE of same model is low season £5200/High season £10,000. Sail around the Islands from Zakynthos in South to Corfu in North (150 miles) in this lovely unspoilt area with a genuine 6 month season. Yacht Avrio is now on-stand and available for inspection at Preveza. Yacht Avrio - registered London and run by a well organised and happy syndicate. Two syndicate members are now retiring - one through health and the other to buy a bigger boat - and the remaining two Members wish to reduce their sail-time to 4 weeks. So, 4 new shares are available - each providing 4 weeks which can be taken as two x 2 slots. The shares are good value ( we think Avrio is worth c£85000) and pay for themselves in two/three years after which sailing is free and you have a saleable asset.

AVRIO has been constantly updated and improved. In last two years - new sails, rigging, anchor and chain, dinghy and outboard, engine rebuilt, new pumps and valves in both heads, new fridge timer, new boom tent, new ignition start and fuel gauge, new anchor remote control, for 2008 sails reliveried blue and hull above water reliveried with blue line on white with blue below waterline, new main winch and all other winches serviced, Grp repaired where necessary, new gas lines and thermocouples, new shower heads, new linen and towels, all interior cushion and mattress covers dry-cleaned for 2008 season, woodwork revarnished where necessary.

Considering the amount spent last two years the next few years should not require much expenditure. The cost per Syndicate Member in future should be no more than £33 per month plus share of repair/upgrades (full budget details are available on request).£250 reimbursement against cost of inspection will be made on purchase.”
