HULL  Steve Hudson, built in 10, 6, 4 steel plate. 66ft x 6ft 10ins.  8ft tug deck with floor hatch to stow anchor, coal, buckets, hose reel etc, gas bottle locker in bow.  Full traditional stern.
 
ENGINE Gardner  Twin 2LW fitted January/February 2008, fully reconditioned to as new specification, situated in engine room.  Engine drives two alternators, speed-wheel and forward push/pull reverse controls.
 
BOW THRUSTER  Electric on 12v system.
 
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY  12v lighting. 240v from Hart Interface system and plug in landline. Ample power points for vacuum cleaner, toaster, hair dryer etc.
 
WATER CAPACITY  120 gallons in tank below tug deck.  Hot water circulation to shower room, galley and en-suite.
 
HEATING  Aldi central heating system runs four radiators. Additional coal fire in saloon.  Traditional stove in Boatmans cabin.

RUNNING COST  £50.00 per month paid by direct debit.  The Treasurer may also request additional payments when heavy expenditure occurs, i.e. bottom blacking, repaints etc. Gas and coal included in running cost.   Each shareholder pays for diesel and pump-outs on return.
 
ROOF  3 Grilled skylight hatches, 2 gang planks, 2 boat hooks, 2 poles and decorated water can.

This is a quality build boat by S M Hudson with final fit out by Blue Haven Marine which has been well cared for and particularly so by owners since set up of the private syndicate in Jan 2008.

We are looking for new owners of similar enthusiasm and interest in this classical tug style narrow boat which must be unique in the shared ownership market.

Ownership does involve commitment to day to day care and weekly simple maintenance, refuelling, pump out, gas bottle exchange, coal supply, external washing and brass polishing together with thorough internal cleaning before handover to next owner.

The reward is a boat which is much admired in public and in which you will be very proud to be an owner.
