Currently, the boat is shared by 2 couples and the bookings are on fixed rota, which is flexible, so swaps can be easily organised. The rota is organised so that everyone has a share of Bank Holidays and other holidays over a period of time. We are now looking to sell 1/8 or 1/4 shares and the new share holders could have some influence as to how the bookings are arranged. (Information correct as at June 2007)

Special arrangements for peak times such as school holidays will be taken into consideration when organising the booking rota.

Pineapple was built in 2001 to personal specifications and had 1 owner until 2005.

She is a very comfortable boat and comes fully equipped. She has a very efficient wood/coal stove, diesel powered central heating, a generator, shore power socket and inverter.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a 12v fridge, LPG cooker with 4 burner hob, grill and oven, stainless steel sink and a full inventory of crockery and utensils.

The bathroom has a hip bath/shower unit, hand basin and chemical toilet.

The aft cabin has 2 single berths that can be made into a double bed.

There is a wardrobe and airing cupboard.

The lounge area seating has seating for five and the sofa easily converts into a double bed once the dining table is stowed away. The lounge also has a CD player and mains lighting.

Comments

The boat is moored at Napton on the Oxford Canal, close to the junction with the Grand Union Canal in beautiful rural Warwickshire. Parking is very easy and it is a very short walk to the boat. It's a fantastic and secure location, the farm has cream teas, cycle hire and wild buffalo!
