This ostensibly 12 volt television set should NOT be operated without the supplied 12/24 volt DC-DC converter that will protect it from variances in battery voltage and shut the power supply down, should the voltage fall far below 12 Volts, to protect the set.

PLEASE NOTE
A digital TV set requires more signal to operate than a conventional analogue set. On an analogue set when the signal is low you may get a grainy picture, on a digital set when the signal is low you get.....nothing!!!
